I believe in the interconnected nature of the world. I love studying systems and finding their patterns. Energy fundamentally drives everything, from the metabolic clock of organisms to the world’s economy. So who knows where one thing ends and another begins. It fuels my multidisciplinarity.
Studying the world is one of the ways that I like to give back. It’s a form of reciprocity. I am a big fan of simplicity and I like to simplify what I learn from the complex world we live in. So when I’m not studying for my Master’s or working on some wild project, I like to take it easy. Pick up my binoculars, camera and notebook, and explore the crazy, complex, inspiring world we inhabit.
